Diablo 3 : Collectors Edition Details

Blizzard released a ton of information during Blizzcon 2011 and they couldn’t have left Diablo 3 CE details out of that. Below you will find what the CE version of the game includes.

But they also announced a crazy offer. Anyone who decides to subscribe to WoW for 12 months gets Diablo 3 for free.

You can read more details about that offer on the last image.

Rumors have it that Cpt. BetaCake was once a mere mortal. In human years he would be 28 years old. Nowadays, he finds peace in sharing gaming news and leaks.

        /Agreed

    • MrGrimord

Maybe pandas will convince their subscribers to stay with them for another 1 years!

      Oh wait.

      • Geteducated

The Pandarens are WC cannon. Blizzard hasn’t “sunken to a new low.” That would be George Lucas and Jar Jar Binks. You hate Pandarens even though you are obviously ignorant on WC canon. You sound jelly… don’t worry… SW has a universe full of Ewoks and Gungans.

lolz i am jelly…. i wanna be the kung fu panda…… o what i think id rather cut some1 in half with a lightsaber. Im still subscribed to wow but im def not feelin this panda crap. and i got my ealry access so im set with both games but this panda garbage has m roflcoptering

Smart thing to do, every product does this… well the successful producs do.

  • MrGrimord

Lame CE just like all other CE that Blizzard released in the past. Hopefully it won’t cost more than $99.

    • Wowfanboy

Yeah, because that yellow color stone, flare gun, statute, and CE store are just epic. lawls.

      • pandaman PSYKE

well i got screwed wen i got my cataclysm collectors edition and the pet was broken and pet biscuits killed it…..

  • weaksauce

quick, spend 160 bucks on a WoW sub you know you don’t really want so you can get another lame flying horse mount and a 60 dollar game for free! And your one year sub will most likely run out before the next xpac drops, which will cost an additional 60 bucks….

    • Really

Might want to re-read slowwwwwwwwlllllllllly the contract. You pay for the year…you get Diablo III no matter what… and you get into the beta for the expansion guaranteed. It does not cover the cost of the next expansion. You might want to go back and retake that G.E.D.

This is an almost exact mirror of the Starcraft II Collector’s Edition. At least the Jim Raynor USB drive looked nice.

Doesn’t matter though, probably still going to get this! I likee me some art books

  • ExDrT

wow… blizzard are really afraid of swtor lol…

SWTOR ftw! Thumbs up if you agree! WoWKillerz <3

    • NeutralNancy

SWTOR won’t kill WoW. SWTOR will be like Rift at best on subs. Thumbs up on being a SW fan though.

It’s amazing how wrong most people are in this conversation, I’m sure Blizzard isn’t under any impression that WoW will stay at the top forever, it’s getting old, they know it, the players know it and apparently the folks in this thread know it. However offering something like this not only secures a certain amount of subscriptions through the next year and all the releases that entails but offers something nice to those who want to stay with the game.

Call it what you will but it is damn smart.

Also time will tell if ToR kills anything.

    • Great83

TOR wont, and doesnt need to kill WoW, Time alone has killed WoW, but because of it sucess it will keep a good amount of fanbois that will never leave it. Look at EQ1 for example, nothing killed it or even came close to killing it besides time, and even to this date it is still played, and has expansion packs being developed for it.

    • Hidinginmytauntauns

These people have WoWphobia and it’s funny.

I’m one of the few out of these… I guess “SWTOR fan boys?” that actually read through the entire presentation for the WoW expansion. You get a new class and new race…new spells and skills are learned as you explore…dungeon challenge modes…dynamic quest events known as “scenarios.” There are pets (pets can be used in PvP and PvE)…there’s a completely revamped talent system… the trinity tree is dead. SWTOR is still utilizing this failed paradigm. The graphics engine will be updated greatly. The new continent area is said to be on par (size) as Northrend. Finally, I like that you can’t use flyable mounts until you hit max level (90). As far as Diablo III… I’m interested. The whole contract thing is sound business sense. Also, if you’re on a pre-paid plan it counts towards your contract. I have friends who have played the SWTOR beta. They say the storyline aspect is impressive… but everything else is bland. Even the graphics aren’t good… they’re “okay.” I even thought they were lackluster from watching a beta video from I believe it was Dr. D. or Mr. D. Finally, they stated that pvp was bland and the end game content is non-existent. I’m putting my money on Blizzard. The rest can put their money on the Miami Dolphins… er I mean SWTOR. I predict Titan will be the next evolution.

  • You Mad Brah?

I dont get this like Swtor and WoW rivalry…. just play both thats what im doin or choose one and dont bash the other jeez……neither will kill the other they both have extremely huge fanbases
