Minecraft : Super Mario Land in Stop Motion [18 million blocks used!]

I just found something amazing. This guy combined the stop motion video technique with minecraft to create the first level of Super Mario Land. Seriously, I don’t even….

        I guess people are entertained in different ways. By the way, I’m not saying it isn’t impressive…it is! Maybe the chaps will get employment on the next “Wallace & Gromit” movie ;p

    Awesome video and at first I thought the music was terrible, but upon seeing that they used the in game note blocks…wow, damn impressive.

    Well that’s cool. I don’t think the time spent on this was worth the result though, but then again, maybe they had a quick way of doing it. Course, I’ve never gotten the appeal of just building things in Minecraft for hours. I’d rather just draw and paint.

      For some people this IS like drawing or painting. Exploring new media, being on the digital frontier, etc etc.

      (but personally, yeah, I’d rather just draw or paint too :P )

    WOW im impressed at the level of dedication it took to do this. Most people in the world today give up when things get slightly rough or if something looks like its gonna take hard work. I have seen a number of these minecraft videos and all of them just amaze me.

    Awesome dedication. Been pondering on a stop motion minecraft thing, but on this level? Wow, that is beyond my skills :p

    What bugs me are the “oops” moments that you’d encounter in Mario that these guys seem to include, meaning how they “miss” a coin block, and fumble around trying to get it. It all seems too real. I call BS.
