ArcheAge : CBT5 Incoming + New dev video

XLGAMES just released a new development video explaining what they have been working on since the last beta ended. Despite being narrated in Korean, I can tell you that they’ve worked a lot on the Harriharan race area, it looks much less barren and lifeless now.

There are also rumors about the fifth Closed Beta starting soon, but nothing set on stone yet.(that I know of). With E3 just around the corner, I expect some major announcement about ArcheAge. I hope XLGAMES will allow us to play ArcheAge again during CBT5, I really enjoyed playing the game during CBT4.

Anyway, here’s the video they released, enjoy watching!

Rumors have it that Cpt. BetaCake was once a mere mortal. In human years he would be 28 years old. Nowadays, he finds peace in sharing gaming news and leaks.

Yes, the new Rainbow Fields look great.
    Finally the CBT5 is nearby.
Hope to see you there, Captain BetaCake :D

    • BetaCake

Hey dude! I’m glad everyone agreed with that facebook comment I made.

Lets hope XLGAMES appreciated the ArcheAge coverage we offered as a website :)

  • Bane

Just a question : aren’t CBT’s in ArcheAge reserved only to Koreans ? How can we participate, do you have some tips to gain an access, BetaCake ?

    • Killuminati

It’s a Chinese game, and no, there have been plenty of Russians in the CBTs

      • Killuminati

my bad, it is korean, I’ve just seen so many chinese website reviews

    • BetaCake

There’s no recipe to get into the test, XLGAMES probably receives hundreds of e-mails asking for beta access from non-Koreans and I assume they only let a few people / websites / guilds in for some feedback and for advertisement within the EU / NA audiences.

I doubt you can get in as an individual, unless you are running some major gaming youtube channel / blog.

Lastly I would strongly advise you NOT to try to get into the beta via a KSSN you don’t own, since its absolutely illegal and punishable by the Korean law.

      • Adasds

lol “absolutely illegal and punishable by the Korean law.”

        • Killuminati

It’s called Identity theft dude, and I def wouldn’t F with the Koreans…

          • Kyle Rybski

Pretty sure Adasds is pointing out that South Korean law governs South Koreans. You should pay attention to what’s punishable by the law of your own country.

          • BetaCake

Trust me, identity theft is punishable in any country. Do yourselves a favor and never use someone else’s social security number / ID without their permission. If they find out they can sue you and it won’t matter which country you came from or you currently live in.

          • Killuminati

Okay, so then the U.S. will just extradite you to south korea for punishment. You’re not gonna get off free just because you don’t live in the country you committed the crime in.
